Many skiers like to take advantage of the free day in another resort which is offered with a six-day Les Deux Alpes lift pass.
Day trips to Alpe D’Huez and Serre Chevalier are both popular options. If you are on holiday with a British tour operator, they will usually organise a trip to one of these resorts as an optional extra. Having Wednesday free means that it is possible to participate in these away-days without missing ski school.
Groups or families with members in different level lessons often appreciate having a full day to ski together, whilst others welcome having a day off the slopes mid-week to catch up on shopping and sight-seeing.
Higher level skiers can join us on a day trip to La Grave – a once in a lifetime skiing experience – subject to snow and weather conditions.
Beginners do not have Wednesday free as at this level most skiers will not appreciate a trip to another resort and will benefit much more from continuing their group lessons.
