Failure to visit or contact our office the day before your course is due to start may result in lessons being cancelled.

Do I need a lift pass for group lessons?

Apart from beginners, all skiers & snowboarders will need a lift pass from the first day. Beginner snowboarders may use paid lifts on the first day, so we would strongly recommend that ALL snowboarders buy a six-day pass. Read more in the FAQ. Beginner skiers will usually need a lift pass from the second day, but buying a package with a six-day pass can save you money (see below).

Is the lessons + lift pass package good value for beginners?

If you don’t use your six-day lift pass on the first day you will still be better off due to the larger discount we can offer on a beginner package. Beginners will not normally use the paid ski lifts on day one, but there are a number of free lifts which we can use instead. Depending on the rate of progress, and where the best snow conditions are, most beginners will use the paid ski lifts on the second day. Remember that the ski pass is also valid for use as a pedestrian – you can use it after the lesson to eat in a mountain restaurant, see the glacier with its spectacular views or visit the picturesque villages of Venosc and Mont de Lans without your skis.

Lift passes for private lessons.

Save money by adding a six-day lift pass when you book 5 days of private lessons.
We can offer a discounted rate on a six-day ski pass when you book a minimum of 5 days of private lessons with us. If you are a beginner skier or snowboarder you do not need a lift pass for the first lesson, but all other levels will need one.
