Many families, couples and groups like to learn in summer as they can combine skiing with other holiday activities.

In summer the beginner slope at 3400m gives fantastic views over Mont Blanc while you are learning. You really do feel like you are on top of the world. Because the beginner slope is near the top of the ski area it normally remains in good condition throughout the entire summer season.
The runs lower down on the glacier can get a bit icy later in the summer, so the next steps beyond the beginner slope can be a little harder in late August. However, our instructors know the glacier extremely well and will be able to choose the best slopes for all levels to progress on. It is possible to remain on the snowier upper slopes of the glacier and use the funicular railway to return to the start of the summer ski area after skiing. We successfully teach beginners on the glacier throughout the summer, every year.
