How to Choose Your Snowboard Level

Choosing the correct snowboard level is essential to get the most from your lessons.

Our snowboard ability guide below will help you identify your current riding level, from complete beginner to advanced rider. If you're unsure which level to choose, don't worry—our instructors assess everyone during the first lesson and can move you to a more suitable group whenever necessary.

Learning alongside riders of a similar ability creates a safer, more enjoyable environment and helps everyone progress faster.

CURRENT SNOWBOARD ABILITY:	BOOK INTO:
Riding at a high level but need to perfect aspects of technique in the snowpark and on steeper terrain. At least 12 weeks’ experience	Level 3 (Advanced)
Confident snowboarding on blue and red runs, attempting first tricks. Would like a professional introduction to the snowpark and its various elements. At least 4 weeks’ experience	Level 2 (Intermediate)
Progressing with elementary linked turns on a green slope. Need to solidify technique to progress onto steeper slopes At least one week’s riding experience on snow.	Level 1 (Intermediate)
Beginner - never snowboarded before, or less than 10 hours snowboarding on an artificial slope. Looking forward to the first snowboarding experience on snow.	Level 0 (Beginner)
